Nick Powell, MD

Dr. Nick Powell was born in Nashville, Tennessee and grew up in Los Angeles, California. He is married with three children, and has lived in the New York community since 1992.

Dr. Powell earned his BA from Brown University and his MD from Tufts University. His medical residency was served at Boston City Hospital, after which he completed a fellowship in Rheumatology at UNC. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. He is a past chairman of the Board of Trustees of Durham Regional Hospital.
